    Day 1: Dublin to Kilkenny

    A Cead Mile Failte is extended to you on arrival at Dublin Airport by your friendly driver and guide. We will stop in the charming town of Moone for a light lunch at the High Cross Inn before visiting the10th century Moone High Cross, the second tallest of its kind in Ireland. We continue to Kilkenny, where we meet a local guide who will lead us on an entertaining tour of the town’s medieval past while bringing to life the stories and characters of Kilkenny's history. This evening we will enjoy a welcome reception and dinner at our deluxe hotel.

    Dinner/Overnight, Hunters Yard at The Mount Juliet Estate, Kilkenny 

    Day 2: Waterford & Blarney

    After a leisurely breakfast we will follow in the footsteps of a group of famine emigrants as we board a replica of the sailing vessel Dunbrody at the quayside in New Ross. Afterwards, we stop in the Viking city of Waterford and visit the Waterford Crystal Visitor Centre, where we will see craftsman create beautiful pieces of the world-famous crystal. We will stop in the village of Blarney where you will have some free time to shop, or for the energetic amongst you, climb 125 stairs to the top of Blarney Castle for the opportunity to kiss the ‘stone of eloquence.’

    Day 3: Killarney & the Ring of Kerry

    We make an early start this morning as we begin our drive along the scenic Ring of Kerry Road. Our journey will take us to the edge of Ireland passing through quaint towns and villages, including Moll’s Gap, a mountain pass that offers breathtaking views of the MacGillycuddy Reeks mountains. We will visit a traditional working farm where you will be treated to a delightful display of sheep dogs hard at work. This evening we will be met by local jarvies who will take us on a jaunting car to Quills Farmhouse where we will be treated to a traditional farmhouse meal complete with live entertainment provided by local musicians.

    Day 4: Wild Atlantic Experiecne & the Cliffs

    We depart Killarney for Doolin where we will board a cruise on the Atlantic Ocean to view the mighty Cliffs of Moher. We will enjoy a lunch at Gus O’Connor’s Pub, a local favourite since it was first established in 1832. We then traverse the lunar-landscaped terrain of the Burren, before reaching Galway, where we are met by a local guide who will lead us on a walking tour of the city while entertaining us with tales of local legends and characters in addition to providing tips on shopping, local restaurants, and pubs. This evening you can put all this new-found knowledge to good use and enjoy a night on the town!

    Day 5: Galway & Kylemore Abbey

    First on the agenda today is a visit to The Dan O'Hara Homestead, an award-winning heritage centre where we will gain a unique insight into the history and heritage of Connemara, ending with freshly baked scones with tea and coffee in the old farmhouse. Our journey then takes us to Kylemore Abbey, a monastery founded in 1920 for Benedictine Nuns who fled Belgium after WW1, before we arrive back in Galway.

    Day 6: Enniskillen

    After breakfast we depart for Ballina, in County Mayo to visit the home of Connacht Whisky. Here we will undertake a tour and tasting of the distillery, which houses three copper pot stills, that were custom designed by master distiller, Robert Cassell, and made to his specifications in Victoria, BC. Our travels take us into the romantic domain of W.B. Yeats and sites associated with the poet before arriving in the pretty town of Enniskillen, in County Fermanagh, where you will have free time to shop, enjoy a coffee in a local café or grab a refreshing pint in a local pub.

    Day 7: Derry & the Causeway

    Today we head north for a guided tour of poet Seamus Heaney’s Home Place in County Derry. Later, we will stand on the shoulders of giants and learn about the legend of the iconic pillars with our personal guide at the Giants Causeway. When we then head for Belfast, our home for the next two nights. This evening, we will enjoy a Prosecco reception before dining at our hotel.

    Day 8: Belfast & Titanic

    This morning we will undertake a panoramic tour of Belfast which will include the political wall murals located on the Protestant Shankill Road and the Catholic Falls Road. Then we head to Lisburn and the Irish Linen Museum where we will trace the history of Irish linen production in Ulster and view live spinning and weaving demonstrations. Later this afternoon we are back in Belfast to visit the Harland and Wolff Shipyard and the Titanic Experience, where you will take a self guided tour of this top European attraction. Tonight, you are free to dine in Belfast.

    Day 9: St. Patrick’s Country & Dublin

    We journey south this morning into Saint Patrick’s Country to visit the grave of Ireland’s Patron Saint and the Saint Patrick Centre which tells his story. We will stretch our legs in the in town of Carlingford whose medieval layout is still evident in its narrow lanes and small streets. On arrival in Dublin, we will visit the ‘home of the black stuff’, Guinness, where we will enjoy a self-guided tour if the Storehouse. Dublin is a great city for dining, where you can not only indulge in traditional Irish fayre, but also choose from a great selection of fine dining restaurants and bistros that feature cuisines from around the world.

    Day 10: Dublin’s Fair City

    Today is a free day to explore the ‘Fair City.’ During this time, you may wish to visit some of Dublin’s most famous attractions including Trinity College, Kilmainham Gaol, EPIC, and Phoenix Park. Tonight, we will enjoy cocktails and a delicious 3-course meal on the Canal Boat Restaurant, an exclusive dinner cruise that will take us along a scenic stretch of the Grand Canal in Dublin.

    Day 11: Tour ends

    After a final hearty breakfast, a group transfer will take us to the airport for our flight home.
